As we gear up for the new Broadlands Tigers season, we as a club need to make sure safeguarding is our number one priority.
Whether you’re a player, coach, or parent/carer, everyone has a role in creating a safe, supportive positive environment. It’s more than just following rules – it’s about protecting the well-being of our Tigers and ensuring that every player feels secure. By taking safeguarding seriously, we want to build a culture of respect, trust, and fairness both on and off the pitch.
Please remember that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. If you ever notice a concern, speak up. Raising an issue, no matter how small, will ensure the safety and well-being of all players be it at training or during matches.
Broadlands AFC agree to the FAW’s Parents, Guardians & Spectators Code of Conduct, which you can read here.

If you notice something that concerns you about players, their families, coaches or members of other teams, please do not hesitate in contacting your team’s Safeguarding Officer.
